RE: Football Season Tickets Available Today
I just renewed mine today.

I think the price increase is merited. However, at least one local TV station found some disgruntled people to complain about the increase.

One guys says "I was thinking about buying season tickets, but now I am probably not". Then he goes on to say "I have Grizzlies season tickets". If you can afford NBA tickets, then $200 for 6 home games is a bargain.

If they were giving away $100 bills, then they could always find some idiot to complain that he wanted his in $20 bills.

Well it's not always easy to find a place that will break a hundred.

yeah, still can't see how anyone complains. The tickets are still cheaper than they were a few years back. It was always standard practice for the season tickets to be ~$50 higher when we had an SEC home game.

I will enjoy every minute of every game, so the price is still reasonable. I had corner seats but usually sit in the end zone. So, I just wait until the summer, drive over to the AOB, and buy my tickets. I am living for the year when I have to rush to get my season tickets because the stadium is so full.

RE: Football Season Tickets Available Today
Any ideas on how season ticket sales are looking after a week? I'm sure we had the inital influx of tickets sold right off the bat, and then some will open up if people decide not to renew their seats or move and the old ones come available. I decided to go with 4 of the $89 seats in Sec 107 instead of my 2 in section 104. Is there any way to go ahead and release them before May 15?

I'm sure you could call the ticket office and let them know to release them.

I've got to do the same thing. Didn't have time to wait to call, and wanted to grab up some of the new $89 center field tickets in the upper level. So we went ahead and bought the new 6. Our old location is still set for renewal, so I'm gonna call to have them let go.
