Yup. But there's a big difference between a 5 hour drive and maybe a nights stay in a hotel and the cost of a plane trip, time off work, multiple hotel nights and the penalties for changing plans.

Can't believe we had half the teams in the CAA Semifinals and neither able to get it done. WM should do ok in the NIT.

The CAA used to be a Virginia-based conference. When we left, the league has allowed a bunch of Northern carpetbaggers to gain a foothold. The Commonwealth has fallen on hard times.

Unbelievable that W&M couldn't get it done this year or last year, but I'm happy for Northeastern. Coen is always spoken of with high regard.

The 2OT game on Sunday killed them. They were gassed from the beginning and Thornton couldn't get going until it was way too late. Meanwhile, NE was hitting everything.

Yes, Thornton was a once in 20 years guy for them and he is a senior.

They put the merger talks on hold actually. They did, however, collaborate on a MD-MBA program.

In the event we don't make the Dance and play in the NIT, I don't think I'd like to face W & M because......

You can't spell NIT without VT

It seems like every year W&M is in the CAA championship game just to blow it. Just saw a stat, they're one of the 5 original D-1 teams that have never been to the tournament.
