Considering our expectations for this season, getting the #1 seed by ANY means is a reason to . We start three juniors, a sophomore, and a freshman, and our big men are all freshmen and works in progress (except Simons), yet we pulled it off somehow.

if I have one complaint about these games on ESPN3 its the +2 minute delay. I hate accidentally looking at the score feed at the bottom and seeing the final score already posted for a game still in progress.

Less than two minutes for me, more like 30-40 seconds, but yes, that is annoying.

That was a new record for UB (since the renovation of the arena when they put in chair back seats in place of wooden benches) - the crowd was electric like the Kent State game. A lot of fun to be a part of.

The Kent State - Akron game was the loudest I've ever heard at the MACC. Every seat was filled. And we won on a buzzer-beater for the second year in a row.

There was some anticipation in the crowd after the game - we were waiting for the Buffalo-Bowling Green score. A Bowling Green win would have given Kent State the 1st seed
