Yep, and at the end of the day, you are still Tulsa, and no one cares.

RE: Tulsa
Tulsa beat us in the 2000 tournament, and that's fine -- take pride in that all you want. But don't act like you beat the #1 team in the country, which is what we were before Kenyon went down. I would never brag about beating a team in the tournament who was missing the national player of the year. Then again, the program I root for has some history to be proud of, so I guess I can't relate.

Its a shame that you have all that history and still got left behind.
Tragic.

I have the utmost respect for most of the conference, aside from Tulsa. However, the AAC will not be our final landing spot. Sorry.

Well lets just say that we aren't the Sooners just yet and you aren't the Buckeyes just yet and maybe leave it at that. We are a heck of a lot closer to each other than either of us are to them.

RE: Tulsa
Who said anything about beating the #1 team? Tulsa beat Cinci last time we met. Simple fact.
Although you'd think the #1 team could have handled crummy little Tulsa with the rest of its stable of phenoms.
Just a pesky salt in that womb of what could have been, hmm?

RE: Tulsa
BTW, I was just wondering why the Buckeyes don't seem to ever play Cincy in FB? We have the Buckeyes scheduled at Buckeye Stadium in a couple of years, but Cincy never seems to be on their schedule. Not trying to start a fight, but that seems odd and there must be a story behind it. I think they occasionally play MAC teams from Ohio, but not UC. Is there a reason?

Oklahoma = 0 national championships, 4 final fours, 15 conference championships, 3 national player of the year awards
Ohio State = 1 national championship, 10 final fours, 20 conference championships, 4 national player of the year awards
Cincinnati = 2 national championships, 6 final fours, 27 conference championships, 3 national player of the year awards
Tulsa = 0 national championships, 0 final fours, 10 conference championships, 0 national player of the year awards
You sure about that?

Wrong. We were ranked #1 in the AP poll 12 weeks that season, including the week Kenyon was injured. Which is exactly what I said -- that we were the #1 team before the injury.

Just played OSU in football this season, and play them again in 2018.

I'm done on here for the evening. It's cute though that all you Tulsa fans are flooding the board now that your basketball team is going to the NIT. You guys were noticeably absent during football season.

I was talking about FB of course - the major sport. What's your record against Ohio St in FB? Ours against the Sooners is 7-17 and 1 tie, I believe. Don't know what the MBB record is, but I'm a FB person first anyway. We sure are looking forward at a shot against O St. Ya know its kinda hard to win when you mostly have to play on the road all the time against teams that already have all the advantages. But we're used to it. Good luck Wednesday night.
