I understand...it's all perspective. To a program like Tulsa, the AAC is a great conference. To those of us who played in the Big East, the AAC sucks.

That said, we've all been promoted and demoted. You were a founding member of CUSA. Houston was in the SWC. Tulane was in the SEC. UCF went from the TAAC, to the A-Sun, to the MAC, to CUSA, to the Big East, to the AAC.

Remind me again why you're tired of the being demoted narrative; and why anyone here should give a ****.

UCF, like Houston, and SMU were added to the Big East, just never got to play a game under that banner... they did however play in the American as a BCS conference and then were demoted to G5...
