I just want to clarify that if you are on this board, you are well aware of what the conference situation is. We don't need to mention it every single time we play someone else in the American.

Were you saying the same thing during all the crap years in CUSA? If so, at least you are being consistent. At least the American can claim a national champion.

Ask Mick and Larry if it is a big game. Tulsa has had many good teams and coaches, Nolan Richardson, Tubby Smith, Bill Self and Frank Haith is doing a good job there. They have a better conference record that we do. Every time you blast Tulsa you are really making fun of UC, you just don't realize it.
Let's see.....
Tulsa
NCAA
12-15 in the ncaa
15 appearances
no final fours
no national titles
Yeah..juggernauts Superfly...HUGE
We have 1 sweet sixteen since what 2001? Yeah we rolling with the Big Dogs itextandrive. We lose to ECU, Tulane, HUGE!!!!!! Get back on you Meds.
Look Super, I really appreciate your attempts to shine this turd up (AAC). If anybody gets that award, it's you. And hey, if you are all kinds of jacked about beating Tulane which sets us up for a BIG game at Tulsa, good for you. I am not.
You really need to find something else to do. No one in here has any control over what conference we're in. We just deal with it as is until/if it changes. Give it a rest.

Sadly had we just hit ONE three we still would have won. Or if we didn't go 5 for 12 from the line (or there abouts).

No he was in a mental facility during that time. As I said, ask Mick and Larry if the Tulsa game is important. It is very important.

Our game at Tulsa will be tough.
Duane Norman needs to give us the keys to the game.

They are a solid team playing at home. And they are further on the bubble than we are despite a better conference and overall record. Their name doesn't carry much weight nationally, but they have a decent team this year and will be fighting for their lives.
Also, they don't get a lot of Cincinnati's coming to their house over the years. This conference was a step up for their program. People like UC and UCONN coming to their house is a big deal to them. We will get their best shot.

Really??? You want to compare CUSA v1.0 with Louisville, Marquette and even Saint Louis with the AAC? The only bona fide gem to off-set Louisville and Marquette would be UConn, and they are having a down-year. That original Red-White-Blue C-USA was a REALLY GOOD basketball conference.
Even C-USA 2.0, when it pared down some of the old non-FB schools like Charlotte, Saint Louis, etc... was really good.
It's not about "going backward," IMO... From the old Great Midwest, to the Metro, to the original CUSA, to the BE...I don't think there has been a situation close to what UC finds itself in right now. The AAC is just not comparable to what we used to play in.
