ugly start for sure

I really think that the larger sheet of ice messes with our team... saw it earlier with the SCSU game... hard to make that transition. I still don't understand how you can play on different sheets in the same league... but oh well.

im assuming this sheet in CC is larger... or the camera angles and gameplay are leading me to feel that way...

down 2-0 and WMU takes a stupid 5 min major... not really sure it was worth 5 minutes... but still... down 2 early you gotta be more disciplined.

came out early in the first playing like they didn't really want to be there... no emotion, no energy... poor passing and gave up 2 quick goals. Get there legs underneath them and gain some momentum only to be shattered by a stupid 5 min major penalty...

David Drew said it best in his article earlier this week... if they don't stay disciplined its gonna be an off-season of moral victories over real victories...

I could not tell from the replay one way or another.

Stoykewych plays a very clean game and I would say if it was a high hit, it certainly was not deliberate and not something one would see/expect from him.

Not much of a moral victories if we continue to beat ourselves. We are going to get more 5 minute penalties if we continue to act like this even if it would be 2 for other teams. Dirty play hurts the team and makes our school look bad. He charged along with hitting him in the head.

Here's hoping for a more solid second period. Come back one goal at a time! Go Broncos!

22 SOG in the second is pretty solid, along with limiting CC to only 5 SOG

It starts at the top,we take so many stupid penalties we let every team in the game.

52 SOG tonight for the Broncos. Providence is the only other team CC has played this year who put up 50 or more shots. Providence won in OT 5-4

Considering how WMU started the game tonight, this was very impressive

Broncos entered the game tonight @ #24 pairwise, no changes after the road tie, still #24.

Points don't matter anymore... wins do. And we blew this one.

Has this team played a complete game yet this season? It seems every night they just take a period off and it always costs us. CC was terrible and we had no business playing tight games with them this season. We simply cannot put bad teams away.
