In my best BDK impression: "it's 6,185 announced attendance. The real butts in seats is probably about 764. My eyes don't lie."

My eyes told me that most of those people were actually there today. I'm not sure why, but people showed up.

Agree. Looked pretty good on TV when they'd show the opposite side.

Yes but the defense has really been the key vs Hofstra. What is the saying- "fool my once, fool me twice...". Folks can say they missed shots, etc. when it happens two games in a row the defense has to get some credit. Curry on Green, even Kent played pretty good defense.

I get the skepticism for the Dukes in that they went 0-6 vs. the top 3 teams and weren't really competitive in those games but the 12-0 vs the rest of the league record (6-0 on the road) I think is pretty impressive especially given the inconsistency against "teams we should beat" and on the road for the program historically. Let's see how they do neutral court with everything at stake in Baltimore. W&M and UNCW both kind of choked when the stakes were high yesterday. W&M choked last year vs. Delaware at the end of the game. Northeastern has shown that they are beatable as well. Execute vs. Hofstra one more time then keep the games close- play with energy and good defense. Take the games to these teams and see how they respond to the Dukes.

I wonder if the attendance for the final game of the regular season (W&M had slightly over 5,000- JMU had over 6,000) will give the Dukes the top avg. in conference. With the UVA home game and the number of home games I would expect that this year was a pretty good one for the Dukes at the box office.

Fair enough but have you ever heard any of the other commissioners interviewed? They are league administrators- hamming it up for the camera isn't their strength.

UNCW is top in the conference in attendance by a decent margin I think.

crowd yesterday was awesome. If we had those kind of numbers all the time it would be pretty neat.

and when it's a 'full' house in there, wow do we need to build a new convo.

NU has been very good for years now and yet, they have the worst attendance in the CAA. They should consider having no sports besides hockey.
