The Brown hype machine has me excited
their fans are jackasses
Pot meet kettle, kettle this is pot.
True, our fans our jackasses, too. Worst I've seen, actually.
I say neither of you have competed with ODU. These people have some kind of chip on their shoulder they are almost worse when they come to your house. You can come into almost any tailgate at JMU, start a conversation, and I'd be surprised if you were not offered a beer and some food. Upon departure of the tailgate an offering of "good luck in the game" will be extended.
The ODU folk came in buses to JMU, since it wasn't homecoming or family weekend, we allowed their buses to park in normally reserved areas. Those cats stayed on their buses right up until game time and then headed directly to the stadium avoiding any friendly conversation or even eye contact. Upon kickoff the insults and vulgar language began.
Though I didn't attend our game down there, word on the street was that they literally wanted to fight, that it was a thug infested atmosphere.
I hope you laid the smack down on them.

I was thinking you would for sure say wine and cheese.

No doubt a lot of the ladies are into the wine, but beer or bourbon flows freely among the guys.
