Well I just got home in time to turn it on and see last few seconds. Groundhog day again is right ! Honestly i have lost a lot of interest in the team. Same old song and dance.

You forget who is coaching.

Doesn't matter. We could go 0-29 and Bartow would just give his 3 days in March spiel.

I always wonder which of our players might touch the ball in the last three minutes of a game. It is a complete mystery what set will be run and which matchup we'll exploit. We are wholly unpredictable, as we could use any one of our players to keep the opponents guessing. I would hate to be coaching against ETSU late in a game. There's just not enough time in a timeout or enough ink in the dry erase pen to plan for every eventuality.

I called the last possession/shot by Riley as it was happening. Pitiful look especially considering the timeout to set up a play.

I can easily point to bad calls against Mercer, and what the announcer say make no difference to me and my viewpoint... the point is, when a team only takes jump shots, I don't know how you're going to "get" calls. It can't happen.

ETSU lost this game in 2003 when they hired bartow. That is not exaggeration. That is a fact.

You almost got me there!

Name a Division I team going against ETSU right now that you would bet against. Am sure Western is eager to break that losing streak next week against this DOWN and OUT program.

Obviously, it IS hard to win on the road.

I'm furious about several of Bartow's failures tonight and throughout the season, but his bungling of the bench infuriates me the most. For the second game, he's glued Desonta and Tommy to the bench, both of whom provide attributes we need - perimeter defense and toughness underneath.

Most coaches wear out their welcome. It has become obvious that Coach Bartow now falls in this category. It's clear that he isn't the one to take this program upward. It's not Freedom Hall keeping most fans away, it's him. He is not seen the area, basically no PR coach and his personality borders on an introvert. Hate to buy him out, but in long run it will be cheaper as this program next year is going to take a major hit in revenue if he's still around.
