Troy coaching contracts
@eaglesports: Neal Brown's base salary is $660,000 per year. If he leaves before Feb. 1, 2016, the buyout is $1.2 million.

@DEwiseTrojan: Buyout drops to $600,000 the next year, then $300,000 then $150,000. If Troy terminates contract, Brown is owed the balance of the contract.

Major incentives for Neal Brown: $150,000 for reaching spot in College Football Playoffs. $100,000 for bowl that has $3 million payout.

$50,000 for any bowl game that pays out less than $3 million. If Troy wins more than 4 Sun Belt games, base salary increases by $30,000.

New assistant salaries: Koenning -- $250,000, Sumrall -- $190,000, Moore --$170,000 , Edenfield -- $120,000, Hardmon -- $85,000, Williams -- $80,000

Does that occur every year? >> $780,000 in 2018?

RE: Troy coaching contracts
So we are paying our DC 250k and both OCs combined make 290k

We are paying our defensive staff a heck of a lot more... Koenning is DC at 250k while Sumrall who's Defensive assistant coach is paid 190k

Edenfield the Old OC and current Co-OC's contract ends May 31st so we may see a bump in pay to match the other Co-OC pay

More details to come later

That would mean we lost to the FCS school too. While is possible

But 5-7 would be a improvement from 3-9

For every SBC win above 4 he will recieve 15k raise. Meaning if he wins every single SBC game he can recieve a 45k raise for next year.

660K puts him third behind Hudspeth and Anderson in the league.

I think AState pays our OC 250K, so that's probably tied for the highest paid assistant. Not sure what the Cajuns pay their staff.
