So you can threaten your servants who are ENFORCING the laws on the books, because you don't like them.. Straight from the transcript By the White House!

Quote:How do you guarantee that an immigrant who is in the middle of legalizing his status that eh or she is not going to be deported by ICE? Mr. President, my husband was deported during the process, and this, she says, happened just last week.

THE PRESIDENT: I would have to know the details of what exactly happened. But what I can tell you is that until we pass a law through Congress, the executive actions that we’ve taken are not going to be permanent; they’re temporary.

We are now implementing a new prioritization. There are going to be some jurisdictions, and there may be individual ICE officials or Border Patrol who aren’t paying attention to our new directives. But they’re going to be answerable to the head of the Department of Homeland Security, because he’s been very clear about what our priorities should be. And I’ve been very clear about what our priorities should be.

but hte killer quote:

Quote:MR. DIAZ-BALART: But what are the consequences? Because how do you ensure that ICE agents or Border Patrol won’t be deporting people like this? I mean, what are the consequences?

THE PRESIDENT: José, look, the bottom line is, is that if somebody is working for ICE and there is a policy and they don’t follow the policy, there are going to be consequences to it. So I can’t speak to a specific problem. What I can talk about is what’s true in the government, generally.

In the U.S. military, when you get an order, you’re expected to follow it. It doesn’t mean that everybody follows the order. If they don’t, they’ve got a problem. And the same is going to be true with respect to the policies that we’re putting forward.

Uhm.. no.. if they don't believe the order is legal, they DON'T FOLLOW THE ORDER...

Holy crap... Hey your highness, your jackassery crown is showing!!!

I wonder how the Libs will spin this since it's straight from the White House website. Come to think of it, that's probably what we should all start referencing.

Libs have endorsed breaking the laws of this country because of their blind following of the Chosen One and they agree with his actions. A dangerous time with this President putting himself above our laws. When a leader decides which laws he will enforce, anarchy is on the way.

Nothing to see or 'explain Tom?

The president is saying that he's going to punish ICE agents that enforce the law? (Because "directives" does not equal to the law of this land.).

What an on the point rebuke of what Obama is doing in breaking the country's laws. Deep and intense. A great justification of flushing the Constitution down the drain. Nobody can't say that you aren't a brilliant scholar of the Constitution.

DHS Secretary Can’t Cite Any Law Authorizing Obama To Give Illegal Aliens Social Security Numbers…

Of course he can't....

Quote:When asked to do so at a Thursday press briefing, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson failed to cite any law that authorized President Barack Obama to give Social Security Numbers to illegal aliens.

CNSNews.com asked Johnson: “A federal court in Texas v. United States has said giving an illegal alien a Social Security Number is not an act of prosecutorial discretion. What specific law gives the president the authority to give a Social Security Number to a foreign national in the country illegally?”

Rather than answer the question, Johnson instead noted that the administration has appealed the court’s injunction against the administration’s unilateral action on immigration.

He said: “Well, that’s a case that’s on appeal right now. We disagree with the district court’s decision but that’s what appellate courts are for. We’ve appealed the decision. We’re asking for a stay of the injunction. We went to the district judge first and the matter will be resolved in a few days. So that’s in litigation. I believe that the injunction will be reversed in a matter of time.”

Obama’s Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents Program (DAPA) would grant work permits and Social Security Numbers to as many as five million illegal aliens.

More Lawbreaking: Treasury Dept Gave $3 Billion To Health Insurers Without Authorization From Congress

Constitution? Law? What’s that?

Quote:The U.S. Treasury Department has rebuffed a request by House Ways and Means Chairman Rep. Paul Ryan, R- Wis., to explain $3 billion in payments that were made to health insurers even though Congress never authorized the spending through annual appropriations.

At issue are payments to insurers known as cost-sharing subsidies. These payments come about because President Obama’s healthcare law forces insurers to limit out-of-pocket costs for certain low income individuals by capping consumer expenses, such as deductibles and co-payments, in insurance policies. In exchange for capping these charges, insurers are supposed to receive compensation.

What’s tricky is that Congress never authorized any money to make such payments to insurers in its annual appropriations, but the Department of Health and Human Services, with the cooperation of the U.S. Treasury, made them anyway.
