One loss in the next two games,
and we're below .500. That's below mediocrity. Is that what we want and need for our Little Rock program? I don't really know how things have gone along this way for as long as they have. Bad management.
Well there's a new Sheriff in town. Let's see if he's Marshall Dillon or Barney Fife!04-cheers

You know Andy would only allow Barney one bullet, and he had to keep it in his pocket. I'm guessing that the chancellor didn't give Conque the one bullet.

We don't know that. Let's see what happens before making judgements.

I'd bet the ranch on it if I had a ranch. Besides how many times has mjs told us that Steve wasn't going anywhere. Now you see why I think my ranch is safe.

RE: One loss in the next two games,
I don't believe the Chancellor has put any hiring or firing limits on Chasse. It's his call. He can fire or hire. Guess we will know win the next 17 days.

Why would any school hire an AD with zero experience? I know, he's a nice guy and all that, and he's been a pretty good fundraiser they say. He'd better be good, because things won't be improving much if any, at the box office unless a change is made. I guess this program will have to depend on sponsors to keep it afloat. What we'll know in a few weeks is he didn't fire Shields. Whether or not he was told not to fire him, we may never know that. If true, neither party would ever admit it.

Don't most folks on message boards make judgments, one way or another on most posts? When we say a player is going to be great or not so good, aren't we making a judgment? Or should we not be allowed to make a judgment when it doesn't agree with what others think? If that's your thought, you're preaching to the wrong sinner.

Yes, then all the handwringing will stop. But, on the other hand, I'm not so sure Chasse would want to announce a firing while we are in the middle of celebrating the women getting into the NCAA tournament. At worst we will be dealing with the WNIT and whether or not we will be hosting. Hard to imagine a firing in the midst of all that.

I didn't think of that but I will continue to go with my 17 day count down

Good thinking. If nothing happens on day 17 we can come up with another plan.

Even harder to imagine a firing taking place at all. Sorry RBL for bashing mjs again. My definition of bashing must be different than yours.

Reassignment would be the answer if he doesn't have another job.04-cheers

Maybe the golf coach could use an assistant.
