We had two Thursday games last season and it really blows. I have young kids and it makes it really hard to make a weekday game. Was really glad we only got pegged for one home Thursday this year.

Really looking forward to hosting you guys in Statesboro this year. Should be a great game.

Just saw where my Colonels will be playing at Ball St in 2016. Makes for two FBS games in the state of IN for 2016 for EKU as we open at Purdue.

Buzz has been it will be at UMASS in 2017 & home in 2018 but nothing official (or semi-official) so far. Should be a good series as we have some history!

RE: MAC football schedule
I am pretty confident in most cases this extra "exposure" has very little to do with decision making when it comes to signing with a MAC school. At-least that is the opinion in our family when it came to choosing whic school to attend. All came down to staff even though that probably should not of been the deciding factor when making a decision this important.

RE: MAC football schedule
Location for last two MAC games have been set, along with game time for Kent State.

Quote:Akron game to be played at Gillette; Senior Day vs. Miami (Ohio) game set for McGuirk.

May 8, 2015
AMHERST, Mass. - The locations have been finalized for UMass football's final two home games of the season and a kickoff time has been announced for the Minutemen's Homecoming game against Kent State.

The Saturday, Nov. 7 meeting against Akron will take place at Gillette Stadium to complete the three-game home slate in Foxboro. Along with the Akron game, UMass will host Temple (Sept. 19) and Toledo (Oct. 24) at Gillette Stadium as well.

The final home game of the season will be played against Miami (Ohio) at McGuirk Stadium (Nov. 21). That brings the campus-portion of the schedule to include the Florida International game on Oct. 3 and the Homecoming contest against Kent State (Oct. 17).

Additionally the kickoff time for the Homecoming game against Kent State is now set for 3 PM.

The only other kickoff time currently released is for the game at Notre Dame on Sept. 26 which will be nationally televised on NBC. That contest is set for a 3:30 PM start.

Season ticket packages including three-game mini-plans for Gillette Stadium and McGuirk Stadium are currently on-sale now.

What an incredible home-and-home series. Fans for both programs should be terrified. And delighted.

Puts us at odds relative to this blog post: Next Boise State?
