Steve, I hope our patience pays off. Things that are obvious to us fans should be ten times more obvious to the people who get paid to study such things. There are so many things that could be done to improve the game day experience, they just need to devise a plan and take action.

We need the money more than wins against teams that aren't big draws. All non conference games should be away games. And someone needs to tell heather this isnt the big ten and we don't have a big type budget! They already destroyed the only money making department on campus the rec/im . The president one of the major revenue sources for the rec by not fight the ban on having aau basketball tournaments on campuses. The university took money from the tecto help fund the palace ie to finance the rec debt which only had one more before it was to be paid off! To a new 30 year loan combined with the athletics debt!

If there wasn't a 20 year streak of non-winning seasons I might be inclined to agree. However, there is and a WINNING record has to be the #1 priority. This streak has to end, it is becoming a national story. This has to be the year we have more wins than losses or everything else is a moot point.

They know.

I mentioned that I spent time with Heather and Chris last September. They think big.

An athletic facilities master plan can't be tossed together in two months. They have to do the drawings, costing, financing, approvals, starting major donor funding, etc. etc.

I think it is fair to say we're far into this process...

Agreed. If Coach Creighton can turn our football team into a winning program interest will be generated - from fan interest to corporate interest. That will mean more butts in the seats and more corporate donations for things like lights and scoreboards. People want to support winners.
