Either Kerry is just dumb or those two need to get their message synchronized. The way it is, they just look foolish.

Swiftboat Kerry lies, not as much as pathological Obama, but it is in his dna.

Kerry is talking about deaths in general, and Clapper is talking about deaths due to terrorism. They're two different things, as one is a subset of another. Though that's mostly because of major wars that are not happening now.

As an aside, I have been noticing that Kerry has changed quite a bit in the last couple of years. Yeah everyone changes with age but Kerry's are somewhat pronounced. Look at these photos.

Why is it so hard for people like Kerry and Obama to admit they said something wrong?

Where does Kerry think it's safer?

Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, France? There are a lot of places that aren't worse than pre-Obama but I can think of none that are safer thanks to his policies.

This administration is incapable of being honest with the American people. At this point, no one believes them. Nixon had more credibility in 1974.
