Adidas NCAA Tournament Jerseys
First look at this year's special uniforms...

Looks like UC was left out of the special tournament redesigns this year. Not complaining because I'm not a fan of those weird shorts, but I guess they're not happy about the Cats jumping ship. Man I can't wait to see the new looks for next season. I'm excited about this new partnership with Under Armour and what it can mean for the Bearcats.

They've been wearing this template all year. They're just changing from the dumb grinning cardinal head to that dreadful Olde English L for the tournament on the shorts.

Your damn right they are upset we left. After we turned down their offer and went to UA Adidas printed a response that made it sound like they were the ones who parted ways with us.

The switch to UA was too good a deal to pass up, but I've made it a point to look at other school's UA basketball uniforms this year knowing we're gonna change and IMO they're not too impressive. All have pretty much the same stripe pattern and design except for maybe ND and BC.

I think the jury is still out on how good a deal Under Armour is for UC. All we have at this point is a leaked report with a high end number that may payout if and only if any number of contingencies are met by Cincinnati.

Will it pay more than Adidas? Sure. Adidas would have likely paid more to renew as that's how these deals get done. So I'm not against Under Armour but I remain skeptical about much how much better the deal is. And I'm less than enthusiastic about their cookie cutter basketball uni's I've seen teams wearing this season.

Has anyone seen these? They've been floating around the net for a few weeks and i haven't seen them posted anywhere on here.
Take it for what it's worth.

New UA Unis

IF they are legit, they're obviously and early draft.

I'm also wondering if it's just someone messing around with some software.

Likely someone messing around with the uniform creating software on their website. I do like those designs though. They'll have the UC font for the lettering and numbers on all of the jerseys. UC owns the font and that branding will likely continue moving forward.

First off, Adidas did counter and were still half of what UA offered. I'm not digging it up but Darren Rovell had the number, its not speculation.

Those mock up uni's are just some fans ideas, there has been nothing from UA as to what any uniform will look like.

These Adidas unis are hideous. UL has looked like they're wearing a giant belt for the entire season.

Fair enough. Thanks for the info.

I was secretly hoping that those were something from UA. I'm VERY nervous about this switch and haven't been impressed at all with what I've seen.
Of course the money involved speaks for itself.

Those shorts from Fanatics are just as bad and glad they will not be wearing these. I mean look at the left leg side. Why put the red and white stripe there and not the other side. Then you have the red cumberbun at the top.

Are we sure UC isn't wearing these? Adidas has been a failure for basketball apparel and uniforms. I barely see UC basketball merchandise from Adidas in stores during basketball season. Uniforms have been mostly a miss. The throwback and the first March Madness Impact Camo uniforms were hits for different reasons. One was a classic the other was so wild that it created media attention.

Adidas on the football side was solid but basketball has been a different story.

...which is kind of crazy as I've always thought of adidas being more of a basketball company than a football company (after soccer of course).

Kinda reminds me of our MBB uniforms from the 93-94' season.
