Yeah, I'll look over the OECD database again, I know it's a good resource I just don't have it in me right now to look through it. I do remember reading a fair amount in the Economist which went into that sort of issue, I don't remember the specifics but I believe it was Germany who found an interesting way to incentivize companies to reinvest their profits rather than give out dividends.

At this time, doesn't Mississippi get more federal aid, by far, than they pay into the federal system?

My guess is that this may have something to do with the elimination of the income tax.

The change still needs to go through the other side of the legislature.

Locally, Mississippi has to compete with Texas. Texas does not have a state income tax.

#1 is out of order in progression

#3 is true

#2 and #3 are contradictory

I don't understand #4 in relevance unless you assume #1 and #4 are relevant....even then, I don't understand the word "compete" in #4

I'm only looking at this from a missippy perspective and forward thinking relative to change.....apparently our legislators are too....
