That team could have been really good had they not lost so much talent to transfers during Petersen's tenure.

Maybe your next coach can get the program back above a 250 RPI.

That game a couple of years ago was... yikes.

It hurt when Ashton was hired by Texas after just one year at UNT. I was expecting Petersen to be a solid hire based on his coaching resume but things just fell apart. Heresay is either he just wasn't able to wasn't willing to do the recruiting necessary. Other comments are that he was pretty much a jerk with the girls. Whatever the reason it's definitely time for him to go. We've now had 9 straight losing seasons in WBB.

I would expect we'll hire someone with experience: either as a head coach (ex: Ashton, Peterson) or as a long time assistant at some good programs (ex: Benford).
