Jesus H Christ are single game tickets expensive for the west side. Wish me luck in getting anyone to go with me.

RE: TIME TO RENEW 2015 NIU FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS, DONATIONS
For 2015, the Huskie Athletic Fund is introducing three-year agreements for all premium seating areas, including all Skybox, Sky Club, Benchback and Chairback seats. Through the three-year commitment form, donors are able to "lock in" their seat locations at this year's per-seat donation level

I certainly hope it's not mandatory and we don't have to pay for all three years now! Not too many people will be able to afford that. If we do have to pony up for three years, it's sayonara for me.

See if you can get people to split season tickets with each other...two people could split a season ticket and go to 3 games each for ~$60.

I'm hoping to buy season tickets for the first time this year but am going to wait to see how bad we get screwed by the midweek MAC games.

Most of them are one offs that I used to be able to say "hey, going to a football game today, anyone want to come with? $20 or so for a ticket."

Going to be harder to swallow at $42 in situations like that. I didn't see an east side price listed, so maybe there is hope.

Not so sure Bleeds. While I don't find an East side $$ for individual tickets, the FAQ's say:

Quote:For any season ticket you buy, you are saving half of what you would spend by purchasing single game tickets.

East is at $122/6= $20.34 each. So that would seem East will be close to that. Not a good idea for walk-up. Season Tix or bust.

RE: TIME TO RENEW 2015 NIU FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS, DONATIONS
Pay just $122 for seats in sections B and F on the West Side and for East Side (general admission) season tickets.

For just $99, see all six games from seats in sections A or G on the West Side.

This year, NIU is introducing the Huskie Family Pack, which provides four season tickets in sections A and G for $299. For larger families, additional season tickets can be added to the Family Pack for $74.75 each.

Mini-plans make their return to the NIU season ticket menu in 2015 as fans can choose between the 50th Anniversary Black Plan (Homecoming plus two games, excluding UNLV) or the 50th Anniversary Red Plan (UNLV plus two games, excluding Homecoming) for just $75

RE: TIME TO RENEW 2015 NIU FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS, DONATIONS
Quote:Q: What value am I getting by buying a season ticket?
A: By buying season tickets, you are saving anywhere from 50% to 70% off the single game price. For any season ticket you buy, you are saving half of what you would spend by purchasing single game tickets.

Q: Why are single game tickets on the West Side of Huskie Stadium all priced at $42?
A: The single game price was set at $42 to make our season tickets, mini-plans and Huskie Family Packs an even better value. Our product on the field has been very consistent. This is what we believe our product is worth with quality opponents coming to Huskie Stadium in the near future and the stadium expansion on the horizon. Our prices must align with the quality of NIU Football. Save over 50 percent off single game tickets by purchasing season tickets, mini plans or a family pack!

Building off what Dog Fan said...does the three year commitment require full payment up front? I'm assuming you either pay the three years upfront or you can pay the one year fee instead. So for a benchback you would be looking at...

2015: $225 ($75x3) + $132
2016: cost per ticket
2017: cost per ticket

or

2015: $100 + $132

Your renewal packet will include a three-year agreement form that I believe will answer these questions. The three-year agreements are optional and they are a PLEDGE. the money will still be collected annually. Packets will all be mailed by end of the week. We'll also be having a chat with Tim Rice (HAF) and Chris Radford (Tickets) on NIUHuskies.com early in March, another way to get your questions answered. Please keep checking the website for information, or ask us on Twitter @NIUAthletics or Facebook (NIU Huskies).

The 3 yrs commitment for the premium seats is NOT all due now. You pay it year by year. It also locks in the cheaper rate for 3 years. So likely next year they will raise the 1 and 3 year commitment so you would save some money.

this appears to be well thought out and has something for everyone. game Day tickets are much higher but I think the purpose of this is to encourage the purchase of season tickets. Have to get people to commit to the program.

You do have to get people to commit, but based on experience, the market shows that only about 5K-6K people are willing to do so.

Prove me wrong Huskie fans.

Also, you should consider the pledge program for all season tickets. I would do that for my seats.

The tent restriction is a shot to the nuts....

I understand the restriction, because before if you had 17 tickets everyone got in, but i think they went way to far in the opposite direction...

2 tent $1000: so you are basically give $500 more for the 2 passes..$83/game for 2 passes
4 tent $2500: have to give $1500 more to get 2 more passes....don't think so...that's $250/game more for 2 additional tickets to the tent.. Then for the 5th quarter, those 2 additional people get squeezed out...
6 tent $5000: so $2500 for to 2 more passes...$416/game for 2 additional passes, then only 4 of those get into the 5th Quarter?

Somebody didn't think this through...
