At the END of the season... look for this young man to be represented on that list.

Which is why they'll also be three best teams in the conference next season. 04-bow

Who is that?

Kurt Benkert
6'3" 220lbs
Sophomore from Cape Coral, FL

He's bigger than Shane was... and by all accounts, he's got a much stronger arm, and he's a good bit faster than Shane was.

The big question is will he be a winner/leader like Shane was. Between the ears. But Pirate Nation is extremely excited for this young man, and we have high expectations for him.

Who is that?

Kurt Benkert, Carden's understudy, but has shown he has a much bigger arm. Can throw deep passes very well and runs faster. 6'3 220, so a inch taller than Carden.

I think it's Larry Glasscock -- the new ECU QB.

If Gunner Kiel can stay upright he will likely throw 40+ TDs next season. He had 31 in 2014 despite missing the equivalent of 4-4.5 games due to injury. His entire two deep receiving corps returns next year.

no Brandon Doughty (WKU's qb), chuckie keeton (utah state qbs who was injured) should be on that list...he wasnt incharge of there horrible D but doughty almost threw 5k yards last season

Drew Hare (NIU) and Greg ward shouldnt make this list but you could make arguments for them

definitely a P5 bias, im glad he included some G5 though

and hackenburg might be great NFL qb but he isnt a top 10 returning COLLEGE qb (or top 25 for that matter)..and braxton miller at 12, despite losing 2 games total in 2 years might be absurd

Two different head coaches in his first two years with a horrible o-line, zero running game when not fumbling, no one stepping up for the lose of WR Robinson last season didn't help.

braxton miller wasnt beat out, he was injured.. millers record the last 2 years is 12-0 and 12-2 in a power 5 conference ...

cardale jones won 3 games, a historic 3 games but still 3 games none the less...

He looked pretty awful on that goal line series he saw during the bowl game when carden went down.

What is he supposed to be doing in that pic? Faking a handoff?
