Has it been that long?

Seems just like yesterday you were on the CBS evening news.

Its amazing that SMU would have to live that down almost 30 years later... when you consider what's happened since then. The Baylor/Dave Bliss Scandal was much worse. Then there's Penn State... UNC... etc...

SMU/UCONN could be good. I'm planning on watching some of that one.

RE: 3/1 AAC Games
In the other AAC Game today, just checked ESPN.com and saw Houston beat USF 72-55.

Looks like both teams shot well...but UH had a big producer off their bench, VanBeck, who was 4-4 from downtown...as UH ended up shooting 9-20 from downtown. (USF shot well 6-13 from downtown).

Looks like UH's 17 offensive rebounds lead to some easy 2nd chance points (USF had just 6 offensive rebounds), which was a decider too.

Forget SMU... Baylor is the true home of the (I typed something tasteless and insensitive, my apologies, I hope no one read it before I deleted it).

Not surprised since USF has no height inside other than the freshmen center and the JUCO center. Losing Alien at guard and Perry at forward has done this team on. Doubt we score more than 60 in any remaining game
