UCF loses a ton of talent at the WR position so who knows what the QB will be able to do.

Facts is, until another team knocks UCF off the championship podium, its all talk.

You can say this if you occupy the podium alone.

We so. Champs two years running. That soapbox is all to ourselves. The point is still valid

it isnt..... your last championship is shared with 2 other teams....

im tired of ucf fans acting like it was 2 sole championship...
i might even get the argument if you won a co-championship but were still considered the best team perception wise .. but that wasnt even the case either ..

you have 1 solo championship and 1 3 way tied championship stop acting like you have a 5 year solo championship run... literally no one is coming into next season thinking ucf is the team to beat. like boise is in the MWC ... you are a top team in this league, yes without a doubt, but deflat the ego alittle

Preach!!!

What difference does that make? We didn't have the opportunity to play the other teams. So somehow our wins or championship count for less? They said the same thing after bortles storm and our oline left. Until we don't win we are the champions. Sorry if you don't like it.

no one said anything about it being anyless... its about ucf fans trying to make it more..

we had multiple champion ...multiple teams at the top

ive seen SO MANY ucf fans post about them and them only being on top of the hill...no one not a ucf fan sees that

look at the post i responded to

and ucf was preseason #2 last season..and finished tied for 1thru3 ...ucf finished about where everyone predicted ...the projections for ucf was that they wouldn't answer as good as the previous year (that was a fact) but still finish amoung the top of the league (returning everyone on D and stanback who was proclaimed better then storm by every ucf fan) and you finished around where you were projected ....

im just saying stop acting like your the main team to beat but no one not a ucf sees it that way..if anything memphis and uc will likely have the biggest targets and likely will be heavy preseason favorites to win their divisions

I would also put Houston and Navy in there due to their quarterbacks.

At the END of the season... look for this young man to be represented on that list.

Who is that?

Kurt Benkert
6'3" 220lbs
Sophomore from Cape Coral, FL

He's bigger than Shane was... and by all accounts, he's got a much stronger arm, and he's a good bit faster than Shane was.

The big question is will he be a winner/leader like Shane was. Between the ears. But Pirate Nation is extremely excited for this young man, and we have high expectations for him.
For what it's worth, good, bad or indifferent he is up to over 230lbs per his Twitter a month or so ago.

That's why they play the game. Most of the board didn't have us second. They had us third. Nobody saw Memphis coming. The oline hurt the running game. The good news it's pretty deep and we have a bunch of talent there. We just have to get the oline sorted out. Fwiw I think Memphis would have been a tough out and I think we would have beaten cincy. Now this year I don't think we will be as successful due to the lb and DBS being broken in. They are good but all new. The bottom line stands though. We are and have been champions. Saying there are multiple champs just sounds like rationalization.
