A UA System trustee & Bama alumnus from Cullman, AL forced the UAB Alumni Society to send out a letter he wrote telling us we don't need a football stadium because our hospital's cardiology program isn't as highly ranked as it once was. True story. I have the letter.

These are the pompous idiots we are dealing with here.

The UAB administration has talked to no other conferences nor do they intend to. In their perfect world, UAB will get kicked out of CUSA and be relegated to whatever lower level league will take us like the A-SUN. They aren't actively campaigning on our behalf because they truly don't care where athletics ends up.
