Doesn't surprise me a bit. UCONN's defense last year was as tough as I saw ECU face all year. Congrats to him he made some money with his combine showing.

So is 2003 when they started measuring the broad jump at the combine? In the video (gif) it says "best by any player since 2003" which is confusing since the tweet says this broke a record set in 1978.

Correct. It is dumb to say since 2003, since the NFL records only go to then.
