Notes: Georgia Southern game moved up a few hours because of weather. App State game moved to Wednesday because of Weather. UALR at Stephen F Austin is postponed due to Weather, and SEMO at AState will likely be postponed due to unplayable field conditions, though that is not official yet.

I am ready for some warm baseball weather. Here at Ga. Southern it has been unseasonably cold the last 2-3 weeks. Tomorrow our game vs. Citadel is certainly in question. High supposed to be in 30s and high chance of rain.

Just drove past Statesboro on 16 and I highly doubt today's game is played

I doubt Samford makes it to Troy.

AState's game at #18 Ole Miss will be played this afternoon. However our home game with SEMO tomorrow has been postponed due to poor field conditions.

Tony Robichaux is going for his 1,000th career win tonight vs McNeese State. Pretty fitting as he is also started his career at McNesse and is the winningess coach in McNeese history as well.

TX ST and #3 Houston postponed until Wednesday. . . .

Game still scheduled for 6pm . . . Goldy jersey retirement will take place at 5:45pm

Glad it wasn't canceled. Would be a good win for you guys.

They have a 28-15 all time edge over us and have won the last three . . . So hey, maybe we're due, and it's always nice for us when we can take Houston down, especially when they're ranked . . . . We've gotten off to a rocky start, finally got a win against the Shockers this past Saturday. I noticed a lot of tinkering with the line-up that game. Think we're still trying to find our identity.

Our game with Citadel is still on as of now. We ll see. It is 39 right now in Statesboro and has been raining all morning.

Well...more Ice with a little bit of grass showing. Temperatures have been below freezing for the last week, so we've not really had the chance to dry out. They are saying we'll be back in the 50's this weekend, so at least it will be dried out by the time UTA comes to town.

Our field turf got replaced this year... It looks sharp!

Not so fast, my fellow Bobcat. The record is skewed a little bit. We were playing 3 game series vs Houston through 2012. We swept them twice then went 2/3 when we had Kubitza, McVaney, Atwood, Sibley, et al. After that they chickened up and went to single game(s).

Of course, their fortunes have now turned while we're struggling.

Southern miss at home this weekend is always a good series.

Should be good for attendance too.

Ole Miss knocks off AState in a classic pitchers duel 2-1 Rebels got runners in scoring position only twice all day. We got runners in scoring position 3 times. Trouble is, they hit a homer and we didnt.

Very competitive game, but we're going to need more out of our offense in these things.
