RE: MAC Tournament
Well you can forget a BG-Toledo rivalry game tomorrow. EMU won 73-67 in a game that was + or- four the whole way until the last two free throws. What a way to end a season. BG was in first loses three nail biters and ends up the 5 seed and out of the tournament in one game.

There's a station at I-71 and West 150th. You can take 77 North to 480 West, and exit at West 150. It's about a mile north on West 150.

It's a bit further off the highway, but you might also get on the Van Aken line. Take 271 north to Chagrin, West on Chagrin to Van Aken road. The train station is near Chagrin and Van Aken.

If it was me, I'd just park at the Q. It's worth paying rather than spending 30 minutes on the train, especially late at night.

Watching this Akron-WMU game and man do I want WMU to win. They are crap. Of course, I believe Akron is crap too. Although that doesn't mean we couldn't lose to either tomorrow night.

Akron doesn't look tired either. They are playing with a lot of energy and are hitting the threes. I hope our defense comes to play and our shooting is on !!!!!

Looks like a Zips rematch tomorrow night. Should be fun sending them home.

RE: MAC Tournament
At times last night Akron did seem energetic and active. Western Michigan was the team that looked dog tired last night. They never made Akron's defense work hard on back to back possessions.

But there were some signs of fatigue for the Zips to be sure. Johnson missed three point blank shots and salvaged his three point night by hitting 3-6 from the line. Forsythe was not moving very well and picked up 4 fouls in about 8 minutes of action. That tells me he is struggling with this injury.

The freshman point guard was sloppy...I would like to see Kent State make him handle the full court early and often.

I would like to see Marquiez Lawrence log a few high energy minutes tonight with a specific defensive assignment.

The other big thing tonight will be offensive movement. Make each Akron player on the court run every time the Flashes have the ball. Tire them out. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Akron plays quite a bit of zone tonight.

58-45 ... Both teams must have been tired. That's not a lot of scoring

I would expect someone to post this on the bulletin board in the KSU locker room before the game.

RE: MAC Tournament
The number 3 seeded Akron women's team came out in red and white uniforms today. Never saw those before. Has anybody? They looked like the Indiana Hoosiers. They promptly lost 95-66 to an EMU team that was playing its third game in four nights. The tired theory doesn't always hold true. Akron wasn't as good as their record this year. Although losing by 29 and never really being in the game after 5-10 minutes was a shocker.

I wonder if the men have a new uniform for tonight. Apparently Akron is considering a name change for the university. If that why not uniform changes? The PD reported they are paying a consulting firm $100,000 to look at everything. Maybe universities should start offering degrees in consulting. It seems to be an up and coming field.

RE: MAC Tournament
I have mixed feelings on this one. On one hand, I don't see Akron pulling out a win against a well rested, much deeper, Kent State. They are also foul prone.
However, they can get hot from the 3. That had all of us on the edge of our seats 6 days ago.

On EPSN's Streak for the Cash, in a heads-up matchup, people are picking KSU 83%-17%.

RE: MAC Tournament
KSU - 38%; FG 25% 3s; 50% FT
Acorn - 24% FG; 14% 3s; 42% FT

Pretty low all around
