SBC overall looks strong. The midwest and Northeast teams do typically start slow because they are on the road to begin the season and they haven't seen real grass in a while.

Even with that in mind, SBC is off to a strong start.

As a Southern alum and fan, it's nice to have a strong start for the baseball season. Seems like the momentum from football and basketball is feeding off to baseball. Great time to be a Southern fan! Wearing my Southern shirts in New Jersey and making some heads turn is always a good thing!

uta is doing about as expected. had a good game at #1 tcu but lost 4-1. we have them coming to our place also. pitching has been weak in games against mostate and washington state but wins against michigan state and sela were good. lots of new faces in the lineup.

Big week this coming week. Midweek games is where Rodney shows his major weaknesses, and we lose at large status every year by mid March.

We have no consistent pitching this year and will likely struggle in conference. We have Wake on Wednesday and Maryland this weekend in Georgia.

we have iced over roads and some snow predicted for wed. so probably no game. maybe work indoors on hitting..

The Troy/Southern Miss series should be a good one but how does Southern Miss have a standing of 3-3-1? Did they call a game during bad weather and made it a tie?

Game against Nicholls St. Tied 1-1 in the6th and rained out--so tie game.
