WMU draft picks over the years
Thought you'd be interested in this information. Certainly brings back memories of some great players who walked the turf at Waldo Stadium.

RE: WMU draft picks over the years
Bob Lurtsema and Bob Rowe had outstanding NFL careers. Bob Rowe was literally the first guy I met at WMU. I couldn't help thinking..."Holy Cow, they grow em big in Michigan." He was also a gentlemen.

Jerry Collins played for Buffalo. One of the nicest guys I ever knew. We got a chance to talk at the Army game. We were both in the stands and his wife was with him. She was awesome as well. I have only talked with him briefly on the phone years ago. Gene Hamlin was also a good guy who played with Chicago. We got a chance to talk after the Patriots played the Bears. Roger "Ramjet" Lawson also joined us for a little bit.

I talked with Steve Hawkins when he was with the Patriots. Very quiet. My friends who were coaches at the time, let me come into the training area to meet him because they knew I was a Bronco fan.
