Cajuns need to finish in that top 4. If they do, then I think they can make a run in the tourney. They do play well in New Orleans, and will have the best fan support. This will make them a tough draw for any team.

The 2nd half of the USA game tonight was probably the best half of basketball we have played in 3 weeks. So hopefully we can carry that from here on.

If we take the way the two teams today, it'll likely be a boring one. I get this feeling southern peaked a while ago and is coming down now. GSU, on the other hand, i think we're just starting to peak. I'm not even worried about the southern game. It's ULM that i'm more worried about.

Georgia Southern is a sorry excuse of a team. You should make a PowerPoint and show it to Georgia State's players so they will know not to worry about us.

Give the Cajuns the #1 seed. Only team in the top 5 that hasn't lost to someone in the cellar.

Oh i'm skeptical that me showing them anything will cause them to lay off you. It's been pretty well established that these two teams don't like each other, and i don't suppose they're going to take it easy, especially on the final game of the season, which is the final home game for 3 (or possibly 4) of the starters.

I think you guys might be screwed.

Getting swept by a pretty terrible looking South 'Bama team doesn't really help that cause.

GSU is definitely peaking. But, I'm not underestimating anyone. EVERYONE gives GSU their best shot.

Give the Cajuns a break. They are still the best team in the conference, they just had a few off-nights.

Georgia Southern could play like crap for 5 straight games, but they'll be up for Georgia State. There isnt any other way anyone can look at it.

Panthers might win, but you have every reason to be very worried about that game. As an Arkansas State fan...If we were in first and UALR was in last, I would worry more about UALR than the 2nd place team because I know the Trojans will give us a game regardless the circumstances. There's no guarantee another team would.

+1.

Records mean nothing when we play GS.

I said earlier, Southern isn't the team i'm worried about. We've never been swept by a team in this conference since rejoining, and i don't think Southern will be the team to do it. They just aren't looking good right now. ULM, i am worried about. A game at their place, a team that, while having an off night, is still in pretty good control, they're much more likely to ruin our day than Southern.

Well, it only took us til the last 4 games of the year to play ourselves out of the tournamnent . . . And that coming off a Bye . . . .... Looks like overhauling this team will take longer than many of us would have cared for or expected . . .
Let's see how the last 4 play out, and hopefully the future brings better things . .

Not out yet. You still have games with Troy and AState coming up. Win both of those and you are in.

Lose to us on Saturday though, and you're probably out.

Despite losing 9 or 10 Texas State still controls their own fate, especially with Troy and AState at home. We (UALR) took care of both of those teams this week, the way we needed to, and one was on the road. Obviously, if Texas State can't win those at home they don't deserve to be in the tournament.
