Tough day. Lost the first game to St. John's and the second to UNC Greensboro. We had a 5-1 lead in the second game going into the 9th inning and lost 6-5.

Listened on and off to the radio broadcast of the St. John's LU game. Errors and wild pitches seem to doom the Flames in this one. I know the season is young and there is plenty of time to straighten things out. One reason for LU's poor baseball start is failure of playing fundamental baseball. St. john's took advantage of several wild pitches and poor fielding. There is still ample time to progress, especially when it's the basics of the game that need improving.
