Man... after the coaching ejections weren't you guys down to the water boy assistant calling plays?

ole timmy made a return trip (to his hometown) and showed his arse when d.j. newbill wanted to transfer, raised cane in OUR athletic dept. when he got denied, and the general (our interim AD said, "bye bye")

I think our waterboy drove him to the airport 03-wink

disclaimer: I'm easily paraphrasing the event, and am not trying to derail....but, the story is just damn funny................never liked timmy....reminds me of the other pompous pricks in this town....

you mean the 2010-11 series? When we won the 2011 tournament in el paso by one point over utep? Is that the sweep you are remembering.
03-lmfao its hard for us to remember considering we are 11-4 vs utep.

UTEP would definitely sweep Memphis this year.

you know who he was talkin' about 03-wink

7' who could shoot threes?

If you're not being coy, a certain poster of yours (not going to name names) talked incessantly last year about how Akeem Richmond was having a better year than Kevin Durant did at Texas.

Heh.... I stayed away from the SJ AR love fest posts.... Akeem was a legit shooting threat though....

Not saying he wasn't. He was a good player. It's just that by January last year, I think every person on the board was wishing he'd go 0-25 every game so that we wouldn't have to hear about it any more.

What's his effective field goal percentage, also known as the only stat that actually matters?

The look alike and photoshop threads were my fav. The UAB ones stick out in my mind (dino comparison and the coach on the ground). Seems like there were some good ones with the curly headed coach from Houston...apologies as I'm not good with names. Can't even keep all my kids straight.
