I think you're right. We looked pretty good tonight. Not world beaters. Maybe not even a tourney team. But we looked competent. We looked like a basketball team. The fact that that was so impressive is the problem, but keep it up and it keeps me happy. Go Tigers!

Our zone looked really, really good tonight. Not every team is going to have that Hamilton-type or Purvis-type that can slither through for layups, either. We basically shut Boatright down.

I really, really like what Markel brings to the table

Late in the game the team only had 4 turnovers before getting loosely Goosy and ending with 9. They have started to become more in control the past 4 to 5 games for the most part

We screened open shots for Woodson that was new. We look like we're running an offense now.

Thugs? Their players did seem a bit accident prone. But it looked to be Brimah's hand that almost knocked Boatright's teeth out. No punches were ever exchanged.

But why were UConn players allowed to run to our bench? Time had been called was the explanation given. I didn't know you could run to the opposing bench during a time out.

Haha......awesome. Their own player hits Boatright and we are the thugs. Classic rivalry building and we need another good rivalry on a national scale since Louisville left.

The team looked really solid last night. It was really nice to see players other than Austin step up and play at a high level. Realistically, Austin was not very good offensively in the second half. You could tell he was having a hard time getting his legs under him the second, which is understandable given he has not played in the past few games. However he was still fantastic on the defensive end of the court. But Kedron and Markel both stepped up and played really well. Hopefully, they can carry this momentum into the next game.
