If it ended today the 8 seeds at the Sun Belt tourney would be:

1-- ULM
2---GS (get tiebreaker over Ga. State due to win over them)
3-- Ga. State
4-- Texas-Arlington
5-- Louisiana
6-- South Alabama
7-- UALR
8-- Texas St. (get tiebreaker over Troy due to win over them)

Out of tourney: App. St. (ineligible), Troy, Ark. St.

All teams have 4 or 5 games left.

There is a chance that we fail to score more points than Bye . . . .

Fortunately for us that tie breaker only exists if we don't beat you. At home. In the last game of the season. Where a win could mean the conference championship trophy.

The biggest hurdle for GSU right now is ULM. We could really do with them losing a couple outside of us, though that might be a little much to ask for.

This game scares me Chief. You guys have talent and this could be be like Troy and GS, but I sure hope not. Anything against AStAte scares me, as you guys always seem to have our number.

Hopefully we come out with a chip on our collective shoulder after that showing in Boone.

EDIT: ...and that chip doesn't translate into technicals...

BTW, will USA be the first team this year to actually face travel partners the way they're intended? I love how the Cajuns play both Texas teams this week...one home and one away. I realize Lafayette isn't too far from either, but that would've saved a plane trip, wouldn't it?

It shouldnt. We've won one conference game at home this season. Only two at home overall. (Thanks Texas State!)

If one assumes that Georgia Southern, Georgia State, and ULM have wrapped up bye's, the Mavericks could essentially clinch the final of the 4 bye's by winning Saturday. It would put them two losses up on the Cajuns with 4 to play, and the Mavericks would own the tiebreak.

So who actually believes Harrow has "concussion-like symptoms"?

No reason not to believe that unless you are privy to something else.

Well, Panthers lead 44-13 at the half in Atlanta. They definitely came ready to make up for that loss in Boone. We shouldn't let this one slip like we did there, but stranger things have happened.
