That was a huge 3. A miss there and CoC could be right back in the game. huge. I like Chewbacca getting more of Saitkus' minutes. I feel like he can play a little inside and a little outside. Almost a tall 3.

Go Dukes!

Let's win these next two and hit the 20 game win mark to closeout the regular season.

Yes. Good win with Ron 0-11. Tough game coming up Wednesday at UNCW. I think we will play them much tougher than last time, hoping we can find a way to continue to play well on the road. Hofstra and the Tribe play at 4:30 today on NBC sports network.

Nice win for the Dukes. Free throw shooting could have been a lot better there at the end. We were't our best today and still managed a "W". Things are clicking.

Good news: The Dukes won this one. 02-13-banana

Bad news: Looking at their conference opponent's schedules, Northeastern only has Elon and Charleston, while JMU has UNCW and Hofstra.

Taking care of business against a struggling Charleston team was good to see as the Dukes didn't play their best. Wednesday brings a UNCW game that is one of the few big games JMU has played this year.
How will they respond as underdogs?

Ugly win but they got through it. It was a big 3 by Chewbacca. That really was a punch to the stomach of the run CoC was on. He has obviously been given the green light by Brady. I didn't think the team look very energetic today and Curry may have had his worst game as a Duke. I even evaluated whether he was shaving points. Some of the shots were just nowhere near the rim. Then McLean misses 3 our of 4 foul shots down the stretch. I was suspicious until Curry hit a couple free throws.

Both games are on the road for NE - they are 4-3 on the road in conference this year. I think the ideal setup for JMU if they don't win the conference would be to finish 2nd by winning out and hoping that W&M stumbles and also hope that W&M finishes 4th behind UNCW. That would assure the Dukes of only facing the winner of W&M/NE (if both get through their first game) in the final and not having to face both teams on the way to the tourny win. JMU would have the fan support edge against either team but in particular NE in the finals.

We may have, but down the stretch they weren't going in.

They missed some down the stretch but at one point I think Yoyo made 9 in a row. That's some clutch shooting by a big man. Chewbacca made a few as well to keep the lead.

How about Grays stepping up today? Great to see different people stepping up each game. Yo Yo, Chewy, Grays and Kent today when McLean, Vodo and Curry don't produce much offense. This team has become very deep and without Nation or Hall.

I actually forgot about Hall. Is he injured again? Nobody hating a win. In fact, I thought JMU played pretty badly today but still won the game. That's a good thing. We're not going to beat Kentucky but it does say something for Brady for people who don't like him. I'm kind of neutral but these types of games lean me. I know we played a bad team at home, but when you can't get a ball to go down and you still win, something must be OK.

It is a good season to date no matter how you wish to analyze it. Even with a conference switch, I am thinking the quality of basketball changes very little.

I am enjoying this run and looking forward to Balt.

Does anyone know when Hari Hall will be back? As long as he isn't out with anything too serious, his fresh legs could really help for these last 2 games and then the CAA tournament. I forgot what he's out with but hopefully he gets healthy soon.

I think someone said he had a concussion.
