The Wagner team wore those 24/7. That alone is enough for me. I never want to see them again. I associate those unis with underachievement and 1-4 offensive sets with an undersized guard throwing up ridiculous shots while ignoring 21 feet of post players in Wise/Massie/Barron.

Sad thing is people actually think it's a jinx. The one poster was right. We only wear the black or gray against the best teams on our schedule. We wore gray against Georgetown in the 83 ncaa tourney and won. We also wore the black at Gonzaga a few years back and won. That's when Antonio winked at the camera while shooting a free throw. I don't get the fascination with white. I hate those unis

Nike is not happy the Tigers are not wearing all of the Nike Elite equipment being provided and Memphis may not be an "Elite" school next year. This means not as much product and not as nice of product Could slightly effect recruiting
For those note familiar Elite is a collection given to the more marketable and successful teams

On our website we brags about it http://www.insidememphisbasketball.com/nike-elite/ but we dont wear it....

You can say I am trolling but I may just work there......

Perhaps if Nike would forget what Calipari and Bob Winn told them in the past and actually use the school colors of blue & gray in shades as close as possible to the official shades (see links below) all of their elite designs would be worn. I fully understand and appreciate their rights and concerns, but our own interests also matter. There is a difference between being a fully cooperative partner and a dimwitted prostitute.
