Here is a list of Ohio State's road victories, Minnesota, Northwestern, Penn State, and Rutgers. One team on the NIT bubble and three teams going nowhere.
Buckeye have to beat Wisconsin to feel safe about a bid let alone a single digit seed. Somebody really needs to take a good luck at the Big Ten bubble teams because their overall profiles are rather weak.
Not to mention they lost AT Michigan, which has got to be a drag on the RPI this year. They smell like SMU did last year, the team everyone expected to be fine but who ended up shell-shocked on Selection Sunday.

Completely agree. And they have just ONE road victory in the Top 100-- at #82 Minnesota. O$U's profile is much weaker than many people think and I could see (or at least hope) that the committee acknowledges that accordingly.
Shhhh let it be. Would love to be a 10 and play tO$U in the opener...

Their resume reeks of a team that is seeded way worse than expected as the committee sends a message. Honestly I don't see how they are safely in and I'd argue they should be right on the bubble and could probably argue they should be out. I'd love to be the 10 against them as a 7 as I really think they are over-rated and don't get all the love they are receiving.
