Tulane was up 3-0 over Southeastern, then down 4-3 by the 7th inning. Then, top of the 9th with two outs we get two runs to pull away again to 5-4. Bottom 9th now. For reference Southeastern won the Southland Conference last year and went to the NCAA tournament.

02-13-banana Way to go Coogs. Good for the conference that Houston will be in the national spotlight for baseball. Maybe our conference can start getting some TV appearances if Houston, UCF, and Tulane have good years and the AAC is seen as a strong conference in baseball, which I think it is.

GREENVILLE, N.C. - East Carolina officials have announced the latest update to the 12th Annual Keith LeClair Classic schedule, which is being held at Lewis Field inside Clark-LeClair Stadium.

Originally scheduled to begin Friday, Feb. 20, the LeClair Classic was altered due to the recent ice storm and anticipated cold temperatures in the area. ECU Head Coach Cliff Godwin also announced that UNC Greensboro has been added to the two-day, six-game event and will open up playing the Pirates at 12 Noon on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Tickets for the LeClair Classic are $12 for adults, $7 for youth (ages 3-12) and are good for all games that day. Pirate fans can pick up their tickets at the ECU Baseball ticket office, which will open two hours prior to the first game each day at Clark-LeClair Stadium.

A complete schedule can be found below and all times are subject to change, as each game will start approximately 45 minutes following the conclusion of the previous contest.

Revised Schedule

Saturday, Feb. 21
12 Noon: UNC Greensboro at East Carolina (Home)
3:30 p.m.: St. John's vs. Liberty (Home)
7 p.m.: Liberty vs. UNC Greensboro (Home)

Sunday, Feb. 22
11 a.m.: UNC Greensboro vs. St. John's (Home)
2:30 p.m.: Liberty at East Carolina (Home)
6 p.m.: St. John's at East Carolina (Home)

I wonder how we got a replacement. Did UNCG have a bye week and was under the limit or did their schedule get messed up to?

EDIT:

Quote:GREENSBORO, N.C. – After having this weekend’s home series with Bucknell cancelled, the UNCG baseball team will instead travel to East Carolina this weekend to participate in the Keith LeClair Classic in Greenville, N.C.

#15 in what? I think you're confusing Arkansas with Maryland. Of the 4 major polls, Arkansas is only ranked in 1 of them, at #28.

I'm not sure where they're getting that from. UCF is #22 in the Baseball America poll. Rice is #15, Maryland is #16, Arkansas is NR.

Yeah, No idea. Probably a honest mistake by the graphic designer.

Still a good win. Maryland tomorrow will be another tough test. If UCF can get that win, they'll have an argument to move into the top 15 or so.

Coogs get out of a jam. Bama had runners on 1st and 2nd, with their best hitter up. A dude that was hitting like .850 coming into the series, LOL. We got him to pop out, still 0-0 going to the bottom of the 3rd.

Bama threatening again. Lead off double. Next guy grounds to SS, and we throw him out by a mile, but is called safe. 1st and 3rd, no outs.
