RE: All time rivalry teams
Which is the bigger question: Who is the starting five.....or who is the coach?

Duke UNC game would have JJ Reddick guarding either Jordan or Vince Carter. That would be hilarious to watch.

With no regard for position:
Penny

Wright/ Kenon

Evans
CDR
Perry

We would blow Tennessee's doors off.

I would go Penny / Finch / Rose / Lee / Wright... Lots of great options however.

We would run UTk off the damn floor.

A lot of you younger guys must not have seen Kenon play. He could jump like DJ and was 6'9" with huge hands. Wren was good but Kenon was better. No one has come close to Kenon's rebounding ability. 16.7 rpg for his one season, to go along with 20 ppg. Led the nation in rebounding.

Van Exel would probably single-handedly beat any 5 the Tigers threw out there.

Agree with everyone.... Replace Lorenzen with Keith Lee, and Tyreke Evans with Larry Finch.

I'm not sure about the Louisville line-up either. Francisco Garcia over Milt Wagner? Would also think LaBradford Smith beats out Russ Smith.

Kentucky fans would have to argue having 1-year guys Wall & Davis on their team. Not sure that Jamall Mashburn deserves to be there either.

Kenon was the best player that I have ever seen play for us, and I have seen all of them since 1964. He could do it all, post up, shoot jumpers, rebound and block shots. It is a shame that they were not allowed to dunk back then because he was the best dunker that we have ever had.

Yeah. How the hell they leave Ellis off there. And Grundfeld.

Comments on the older players are all pretty valid it feels. I'm only in my mid/late 30s, so prior to Perry, I rooted for the Tigers, but it was more in a 'yea! I like it when they makes shots!" kiddie way of rooting for teams...

If you leave Kenon off of our team, you left one of the top two players we ever had.

Agree. I'm trying to think who the other one would be. Lee or Hardaway? That seems to be the top 3, for certain.
