"Just read that Devon Andrews scored a career high 39 points last night and his team is still undefeated. Also, read yesterday that Jalen Avery recently set his school's record with 20 assists in a game."

great news anti-zip! :)

Yes these look like solid recruits hopefully Edwin or others will fill in some of the losses we'll experience at guard.

Just like you I thought that Akbar did a wonderful job. BSU's Sean Sellers canned two triples and was wide open on both, but Akbar was real physical and up in his grill when it was his turn and Sellers managed just one more field goal after that. Ortiz took time guarding Sellers as well. Chris looked good backing down to the hoop and getting to the foul line he canned 7/8 FTs and as a team we shot 71%...wow! Getting 17pts and 11 rebounds combined from those two guys was huge, especially on a night it seemed like KB was in the dog house---I sat behind the bench and he was doing a lot of back talking when he was being coached up. He also did not start and Derek Jackson just looked tired.

I wasn't happy with the effort but when I got to the car and hear the Akron & BG scores I couldn't have been happier!

don't forget spicer!

made his free throws COGS
no missed dunks COGS
10 rebounds

if spicer keeps this up (& dev keeps hitting better that 50% from 3pt range) & we're gonna be hard to beat when hall comes back 03-wink

Oh, I didn't bypass him intentionally....Liq was good last night! I expect and have expected him to play that way. It was just great to Akbar step up and Ortiz take advantage of his continued opportunity to shine.

I like the way the season ends. One complete round in the east and west. No east vs. west games left. The east was +6.
