Drexel @ JMU
the first game was an atrocious offensive game for Drexel and they proved why they are the worst shooting team in the CAA.
Expect to see a heavy dose of zone with a constant shift towards Damion Lee. Keep him contained and the Dukes win at home.

Feeling a signature game of the season:
Us 73
Them 56
(game not as close as the score)

RE: Drexel @ JMU
I worry we are better on the road than at home. Have we won more than 3 in a row all season? Would love to see us win but Drexel is playing much better than the last time the two teams met. I believe Lee missed that game or was slowed with an injury. If Drexel plays like they did against Hofstra on Sunday, the Dukes will blow them out.
McLean on Lee is a good match up. He has the quickness to stay with Lee and contest every shot. Dukes are the better shooting team. Drexel always brings the D. Hoping the Dukes can keep this streak going.

Lee played all 40 minutes in the first game so he was healthy - he just didn't shoot real well. Lee is listed at 6-6 he's probably shorter than that but I think if they play man Curry will take Lee.

This is a big game for me in whether I'm back on board with JMU ball or not. If JMU comes out and takes care of business at home versus a bad team and wins decisively, I'm in for the season. If the team comes out flat and loses, I'll know the Dukes haven't progressed enough to win the three consecutive games necessary in March.

I am in win or lose. This team always plays hard. They have bad nights and lose sometimes. I can live with that as long as the efforts is there and IMO the effort is always there.

I'm not saying I won't support the Dukes, I'm saying what my emotional investment for the rest of the season will likely be determined by this game. Brady's crews have had a tendency to underperform in games they should win just when we think they're building some momentum.

That is fair ADAD. I really liked the basketball we played the last two games. If we can play well and win two home games this week it would certainly help most fans with their emotional investment/enthusiasm. I am all in for tomorrow, Go Dukes!

Rodney Williams missed for Drexel last time vs JMU. Their long winning streak started when he was able to return, providing a good post presence on offense and helping anchor a soft defense, and allowed Drexel to play less 4 guard lineups where they have gotten obliterated this season.

You must have missed the W&M and especially UNCW games because they looked like the walking dead. That has been a lot different in the last few games so hopefully it stays that way. In a one bid league, I like watching the games but honestly, they really don't mean all that much. I don't think we'd be an NIT team so it's really all who about who gets hot in the conference tournament.

Well, if we won the regular season conference but not the CAA tourney, we'd be a NIT team.

Maybe. If we won out, that would put us at 20 wins and let's be honest, winning out isn't probable even though it'd be great. If we could do that and maybe get to the conference tournament final and lose, an NIT invite could be realistic. I'm not sure, though. The conference attrition has lowered RPI so I'm not really sure what an NIT bid would take. Of course I'd rather just blow through the conference tourney and get an NCAA bid but Northeastern and W&M have really kind of owned us so it's hard to see us getting by them.

I thought the NIT came out and stated the regular season conference champion would automatically receive an invite if they did not win their tourney.

I wasn't aware of that. You have a link? That would still take a lot of circumstances to occur for us to win the regular season championship.
