Obviously, this one gets ugly real fast. Massy says line should be Chips by 9 with a 14% chance of an NIU win, but CMU covers this one easily. Fowler is an absolute stud for CMU, and few teams go up to Mt Pleasant and win.

Tough to see how NIU wins this one. CMU rebounds well, scores at will, and NIU is bad on the road. CMU has been played tougher by the MAC than their record suggests. Ball State blew them away somehow.

I agree with dekalb that this team has underachieved. However I think it's a combination of NIU underachieving and the rest of the MAC overachieving. 6 MAC teams in the top 100 right now. That might be a historical first for the MAC in the RPI era. Pretty unreal depth

How about an upset tonight, even during lean lean years NIU was always good for one of those. Sure would be great to see. Having said that, this is probably the worst matchup of any MAC team for NIU. NIU's huge weakness is perimeter defense and man can CMU shoot the 3 in bunches.

OUCHHHHH, this injury situation is just getting UNREAL. I fear Bowie is done for the year, you could see when he came back , when he was fronted, he had no mobility or strength with the shoulder.

Maric has not looked as mobile since the injury as he did when he first got here....If he is not 100% next season we will be out of bigs with any game experience
