we 'don't care' about North Korea, or we 'cannot do anything' about North Korea.

Fact is, that China claims that sphere of influence, and historically has been ally to NK. Even during times of extreme sword swinging by NK, China cannot simply cut ties with NK due to their historic bond. Additionally, any sort of conflict with NK would create a humanitarian refugee crisis on the NK China border, than i'm sure China does not want to struggle with. So China is a huge reason in all this.

Quote: In an interview, Israeli prime minister candidate Isaac Herzog says the country's people are "fed up" with Benjamin Netanyahu's "politics of fear." If elected, he says he wants to "reignite" the peace process and is prepared to negotiate with the Palestinians.

Promises to get elected, maybe? If he were elected, hopefully Palestine's leader is willing to negotiate, too.

I hope Netanyahu gets re-elected. He is one of the few who lives in the real world. The leaders of the Palestinian territories will "negotiate" while Hamas builds tunnels and amasses missiles to attack Israel, which is imminent. Hamas' goal is the destruction of Israel and take-over of the land. The only place for those raghead bastards is deep in the Mediterranean.

Pretty unreal that former Obama election operatives are working the campaigns of Netanyahu's opposition this year. Its just hypocritical that Obama says he doesn't want to meet with him as to not affect the outcome of an election, yet Obama's men are helping to defeat him in the election in Israel. I literally have a countdown started to when this idiot is out of office.

Some of you decry Obama and his policy towards Israel yet under the Obama administration US aid to Israel has increased by more than 20%. US aid to Israel decreased under the former president and was essentially flat during the administrations of Bush 1 and Clinton.

Obama did not "send operatives" to Israel to defeat Netanyahu, Netanyahu's opposition hired them. Frankly he has been a pain in the ass and I for one would love to see him defeated in the election. My personal opinion is that Netanyahu has been more of an antagonist and unwilling to truly pursue peace. Herzog, Netanyahus' main challenger, on the other hand is willing to pursue peace but not at the risk of Israels security. He has a more realistic view and approach.

“If Iran wants to live in peace, the Iranian people will not find Israel their enemy,” Herzog stated. “But we will not allow an extremist regime to develop nuclear weapons and we spare no effort to stop it.”

[We need] to work with our regional allies, and with our strategic partners, towards a binding resolution calling for the demilitarization of the Gaza strip, in exchange for very significant reconstruction, a kind of a mini-Marshall Plan if you will. This with the aim of bringing quiet and tranquility to our border with Gaza for years to come,” Herzog contended.

BobL you represent the radical left well.

Iran constantly calls for wiping Israel off the face of the earth as do the Palestinian leadership. They often call USA the great Satan. Rational and reasonable people would understand those are not the words of peacemakers. Israel has more to gain in peace than anyone involved in the Middle East, to say Netenyahu does not "truly" want peace is farcical. He sees his people bombed and threaten on a daily basis and has a true understanding of his enemies.

Because unlike Obama, Netanyahu actually UNDERSTANDS the threat he is facing. He knows you cant win over ISIS by giving them jobs, Obamacare, or a hug, it doesn't work. I admire Netanyahu more than any world leader, he is the true definition of a leader. If Obama had 1/10th of the leadership of this man, this country would not be in such a dire weak position. For the first time in my life, I'm embarrassed to be an American, and it is solely because of this administration.

Amen.

Really, the day that politics even shifts one from siding with terrorists over democracy, is a dark day to me. That is political blindness to have such a strong fanatical political background to side with barbarism over civility. This country is morally blind

Just saying, but if a lot of Israeli citizens didn't want what Herzog is saying, then he would not have made it a talking point/ the promise to do so in the first place. Its obvious that not all Israelis agree with Netayahu's policies regarding Palestine. Maybe they're all just as 'blind' as the 'radical left' in America, though.

So by quoting a man(herzog) running for Israel PM I am now siding with terrorists. You are certifiably insane.
