RE: Tibber
i have no problem with Atlantis. We absolutely should have played that. UNC, agree as well. Lsu, Illinois state, by all means.
My point was more along the lines that we can't schedule like duke and play one OOC road game and expect to be okay. We aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt. Plus, road wins are worth more in the rpi formula. We played a good OOC, but it was by no means killer.

We probably need to keep Haase through the present situation for stability, but I agree with Tibber. Haase does not inspire confidence and seems very unlikely to take us to "the next level".

What do you base that on? If you don't like the guy, that's fine, I guess. But it seems extremely short sighted to deduce after less than three full seasons that Coach Haase isn't the guy.
Coach K didn't get Duke ranked until his 4th season there. In fact, his first three years his record was 38-47. (Granted, that wasn't his first three years coaching, but his record at Army was nothing to write home about).
I would say that with the way this team has progressed through the year, Coach Haase has a decent shot of getting the Blazers ranked in his fourth year. Considering we only lose one player.

We still have the hardest SOS in the league and the 2nd best OOC SOS, behind UTEP.
#44 OOC SOS
#125 SOS overall
6 teams had OOC SOS's of 200+.
Marshall #222
FAU #245
Rice #249
La. Tech #256
FIU #285
UTSA #333
and only 4 in the top 100:
UTEP #37
UAB #44
WKU #46
ODU #51

He must have been a real Haasehole in the locker room last night, because we came out on a mission.

They lobbied heavily for the Atlantis invitation...of course they were going to accept it.
