Quote:Eli Manning is positioning himself as a Heisman Trophy candidate. And his team is on the cusp of the most successful Southeastern Conference season it has ever had. No Ole Miss team has ever won the SEC Western Division title. A victory over LSU would put the Rebels in the conference championship game in Atlanta.

Is there ANY sports writer out there that doesn't mind checking the FACTS before s/he writes some dumb arse shiite like this!

Yeah, it's so annoying when someone is obviously writing out of their a-hole. He probably heard or read somewhere that OM hadn't won a conf. championship in its current form but failed to read or hear close enough.
If I were writing about a team that I was not familiar with, the very first thing I'd do would be to get familiar with them. Especially the team's history. 05-nono

The painful fact is that we are getting no respect. These sports people won't say it, but they do seem to believe that we are going to this one year of doing well, then going back to mediocrity after Eli finishes. We are being thought of as a kind of guest at a party for people quite above our station in life. They are being condescending, wishing we have a good time and hoping we will go as soon as possible.

We'll see about next year when next year comes. Right now, let's hope we can handle bidness with LSpuke this afternoon.

On the Buddy D show last night out of New Orleans, most of the handicappers were picking Ole Miss to upset LSpuke. That ****** Buddy D gave it for his opinion that we were going to get handled pretty easily, and instead of playing his barking dog thing as he usually does when an upset is predicted, said nothing at all when we were picked to win.

We really need to win this game today to show those coon asses and those jerks in the sports bidness something
