I doubt that the SoCon Digital Network link will work because the game is on ESPN3, but the link is listed on SoConDN.com.

Devin Harris deserves to start this game for his effort and his productivity against UNCG.

Don't forget that the women also play at Freedom Hall at 1pm. It's also being broadcast on ESPN3.

What?

He has gone to his grandmother's funeral. He will not be at the game tomorrow.

RE: Official Game Thread: Furman
After 9 games the Bucs were averaging 11.9 three's per game on .412 shooting.

After 18 games the Bucs were averaging 10.7 three's per game on .397 shooting.

After 24 games the Bucs are now averaging 9.7 three's per game on .379 shooting.

In the last 6 games, the Bucs have averaged 6.5 three's per game on .310 [EDIT] shooting (39-126)!!!!!
That does include 2 games against Wofford, who do an excellent job defending 3's. But only once in those 6 games have we shot better than .346 from the arc.

If you are a one dimensional team, opponents will learn to take away that dimension.

Wow, those stats reveal our struggles.

RE: Official Game Thread: Furman
It feels in part like a loss of confidence. Teams are overplaying us to take away the 3, but we certainly aren't shooting them with the confidence we had earlier. Down the stretch we used to believe that we WOULD hit the big shot. Not so much now. That's a big difference in a conference where teams are pretty close. We're stuck in a bad pattern, and everyone from the fans in the stands to the players on the floor seem to believe that it will happen again.

But this team can still be explosive and play nasty transition basketball. Wofford is the cream of the SoCon, but nobody is out of reach. It would require breaking out of the current pattern, though.

RE: Official Game Thread: Furman
The three point decline captures a lot. I'd hazard a guess that the last second games lost to weaker competition this year fizzled out when the long ball fell short. It's pretty obvious why the Bucs went from averaging 77pts a game early in the season to putting up weak 63-60 games. Or worse.

This is Bradford's game to shine, should he seize the day. Another strong showing from Harris would be nice. And Banks needs to stay out of foul trouble. This is the underclassmen's opportunity to keep hopes up for next year.

But don't forget this year, Rashawn Rembert. Get it done. Go Bucs.

This should be a relatively easy home win for the Bucs but I fear Furman will be given a shot to win at the end....

I don't understand this statement at all based on how ETSU has been playing lately and the fact the last time we played Furman they were able to pull us down into the worst played game I have ever seen and beat us.

With Jalen out, that's 15-20 points that someone else will have to make up.

It was a statement of frustration with the coaching staff.

Jay said Harris starting in place of Wilson but not only did Wilson start Harris didn't warm-up pregame and is a tg end if bench. Late injury?
