My oh my, our athletics program.

Kids played hard, Sadler did a great job just keeping it close. Some of our "fans"......

fyi.....we talked about this last night after the game on the "open" thread....

yes they/he did nasty....

Why in the world does Southern Miss not hold walk on tryouts to at least have enough players?...WKU a few seasons back had a rash of injuries and we were down to 8 or 9 players, we had walk on tryouts and ended up adding 3 former football players joined team who helped us out and all 3 played high school ball...One of them played regularly and actually did a pretty good job...I am sure Southern Miss has former high school players as regular students that would jump at the chance to finish out season at least on team...

would take too long to explain.....many threads exist in tandem with google.....and it happened in less than a year due to the course of the previous two...

someone deemed DT (our former coach) as a "big fat tub of goo".......it's a fair assessment in totality

we just did that two days ago in football.....have no clue why the southern miss website doesn't update with results....our school sucks donkey better than a tj hooker when it comes to web 'stuff'.....it's nothing but stuffing....

regarding hoops, we 'had' a 'full' team at the beginning of the year....

can't answer for Doc....

....just waiting to see how he recruits regarding next year.....

we are mired in the pickle jar right now.....

Sadler is doing a pretty decent job with USM right now, as bad as that sounds. I don't know many coaches that would win many games in that situation.

I yelled when he did it live (at the bar where I was watching) and just heard the announcers say that "Doc told him he can't do that" in a previous situation...

Doc let that moron back on the team....

I'm still holding Doc in account regarding that one.....

I understand we don't have bodies.....but, I really hope Mill is gone after this year.....

I can't get past this one....

My "favorite" part of Doc's post game comments in regards to drawing up the last play in OT...."I don't think I've ever had to draw up a play using just 4 players"...or something along those lines. I'll admit I've been critical of him since day 1 but lately I do like how he's gotten the most out of the players and the situation.

Seeing this post reminds me of when UAB had. Jr. Varsity Basketball team. They're a thing of the past now, would be great to have that option to fall back on when a coach needs bodies for a game.

No I wish, with 2 small kids it hard for me travel to travel across Lexington much less 6 hours away, haha.....Wish I could go to CUSA tournament but that is probably not going to happen either, saving up for a Disney cruise in May with the family...

We used to have a freshman team before freshmen were eligible to play varsity. Is that the same as the JV that you're referencing? If not, who did the JV team play?
