RE: Reporters reporter
Sad loss. It is stunning to me that so many intelligent individuals still do not wear seat belts.

Was that the case?
From reading they hit both a car in front of them then careened into a median. Even with a belt that "one-two combo" sounds capable of overcoming that technology.

RE: Reporters reporter
He wasn't wearing a seatbelt. He was also a passenger in a livery vehicle. I confess that I often don't wear seatbelts while in cabs. When I drive and when I used to drive regularly, I was obsessive about it.
Sorry for the joke, but I thought Graham Couch was a reporter's reporter?

No, he was not wearing a seat belt. I'm not saying a seat belt would have made things better in this case, but I am certain things would not have been worse. Like I said, I am stunned how often we find out that otherwise intelligent individuals (and families, for that matter) do not wear seat belts when they travel by car. I always insist my passengers wear seat belts.
