RE: Baseball opener vs Richmond
Let 's not get into a waste management situation shall we? The Tribe won fair and square on the court and are very good in baseball. When you write that, you're putting me in that camp. I'm not in that camp. If the Tribe are good at a sport, give them credit. It's common sense. If you want to be respected as a fan base, act with respect. Common sense. If you have something going, people will notice. Think about things and keep it real guys.

Speaking of having things going, I like the look of those Seahawk baseball uniforms. That "Flaming W" logo keeps looking better to me.
As a matter of fact, all the new logo stuff is really looking good. I'm feeling no nostalgia for the newly-replaced one at all.

Nice win over UR. OOC wins are good for the CAA.
Very sorry W&M ruined the day for the CAA; Ole Miss is pretty good. We'll try to do better today.

Kind words, Bill, and I appreciate your position but I don't think anyone judges your fanbase because of one poster. Besides, something as unoriginal as "Waste Management" isn't offensive. It is ironic that Waste Management left the Trash Can victorious last week.

Our ace is Monroe. "Ace" is not a term I'd ascribe to a reliever. We have Gesell and Shepley available to relieve Foster today if needed. That's the good news there, Ramsey kept the rest of our pen from being used.

Making Ramsey is a great move for us and for his future.

Hahaha. Oh bill.
Don't worry man. I absolutely respect WM and their basketball squad is extremely tough this year and could do great things beyond the regular season, no doubt.
This was just a bit of a rubbing to some of our similar trash talking friends over on the WM boards that have been talking a bit of trash following last year's baseball and this year's reg season basketball.

Also, starting this summer I'll be living in WM's backyard and plan on taking in plenty of games there. Would love to meet up with some of the good guys like Tribal on occasion while I'm there. WM is a very good school from top to bottom.

You're a good guy CG and it's not you per se, regarding calling teams different names-it's all of us. Now, if it's ECU, yes, I can definitely understand because they've deserved to be called whatever you can dream up because of their incredibly rabid and invasive fans, but I digress. And, it makes it hard when you have some CAA brothers coming over here and stirring the pot. I'm not like that, never have. I wouldn't trash talk on the court either unless somebody was a complete ass then I would let them know a bit. Anyways, we have some really great fans here and I'm glad to be a part of it.

You're right Nation. I shouldn't have called Ramsey an ace, but to me, he is. Not sure that we have another pitcher as good as him but I'll wait until I see the others. Monroe looked good too but his control wasn't as good yesterday. Still, he looked to have good stuff though.

Bill, I wasn't a trash talker when I played sports but we're just silly fans making the seasons a bit more interesting. Nothing bad intended. A couple of your fellow birdies chirp quite a bit on our board so I like to return the favor. Nice win over that powerhouse in Richmond. You guys will probably go undefeated and upset Vandy for the title.

We'll see how Richmond does against Kentucky before passing judgment. They got their first 2 batters on to start the game but couldn't score. 0-0 in the 1st

Yep. Blowout. A far cry of the level they played at when they were in the CAA.

Thanks for the vote of confidence tribal! You guys will rebound no doubt and will give us some tough games this season
