Anyone else think of the secret meetings in the airports that helped keep us out of specific conferences in the 90s when they saw that this meeting took place at the DFW airport?

Kansas State????

Here's a link to the Chronicle of Higher Education story on athletic philanthropy. But it's readable only by subscribers.

Here is a link to a pdf of some data from the underlying report -- the Council for Aid to Education’s annual review of college and university giving. It lists total giving to participating universities, ordered by state. Rice, on p. 32, reported that it had raised $104,113,347 in 2014.

This document does not have any breakout for athletic giving, but overall, Kansas State raised $156,335,088 oin 2014. (And Kansas took in $162,242,450.) Here's a link to the KSU Foundation's 2014 financial report. I'll encourage more qualified folks than I to look it over and comment.
